The BAMS course is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and degree are provided by colleges which ever you select for admission.
Course Duration : The total duration of BAMS course is 5 Years and 6 Months and this is is divided into 5 sessions as provided below –
- 1st session – 12 Months
- 2nd session – 12 Months
- 3rd Session – 12 Months
- 4th Session – 18 Months
And finally the last session is rotatory internship of 12 months which is made compulsory as practicals in this ayurvedic course f are very important along with theory.
Eligibilty for BAMS Admission
- The candidates who are going to apply for bams course must have passed the high school (10+2) from any recognized education board in India with minimum percentile of 50% in PCB Stream ( Physics/Chemistry/Biology).
- For taking admission in this course your minimum age should be 17 years below this age applications will not be accepted.
- Foreign Students also can take admission in BAMS course if they meet the standard requirements and their educational qualifications meets the university standards.

Fees Structure : The fees of this bams course totally depends on which bams college you are going to take admission . Generally total Fees ranges from 11 -12 Lakhs. Also some colleges provide some additional courses or optional services which are separately charged. If you are taking hostel there are hostel admission charges , hostel rent and food/mess charges which are being paid separately which normally ranged from 80,000 – 1,00,000 depending upon what kind of hostel facilities they are offering to the candidates.
